CTS PRODUCT FEATURES

CTS now offers Air Medical Crewmember Training for medical crewmembers in air ambulance operations. Air Medical Crewmember Training offers state-of-the-art multimedia content derived from industry standards to give your crew an unparalleled training experience.

We currently offer two training options, our standard non-accredited package and an upgraded package with CAPCE accreditation. Each package consists of the following courses:

ACCREDITED

  • Accredited Air Medical Resource Management
  • Aircraft and Ambulance Safety
  • Aviation Terminology
  • Aviation Weather
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Crew Member Duties and Responsibilities
  • EMS Radio Communications
  • Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Passenger Briefing
  • Physiological Aspects of Flight
  • Survival

Additional Fee: Night Vision Goggles

 

In an on-going endeavor to provide the most relevant and value-added industry training, CTS is pursuing continuing education credits through CAPCE for our air medical crewmember training. With the accredited package you’ll receive all the non-accredited package courses; however, courses receiving CAPCE approval replace their non-accredited counterparts.  Accredited courses:

Air Medical Resource Management (AMRM): This continuing education activity is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education. CAPCE#: 17-CTCS-F3-5950 CEH Number and Type: 3.0 CEH Operations.
