Description

Our International Operations course provides pilots with a comprehensive overview of the ICAO operational requirements, international flight publications, and orientation and oceanic enroute charts. The course covers essential topics such as the differences between PANS-OPS and TERPS, the importance of FANS-1-A – CPDLC and ADS-C communication systems, performance-based navigation including RNP 4 and 10 requirements for oceanic and remote airspace, including requirements for adding RNP capabilities on the flight plan, North Atlantic RNP-10 and 4 on the North Atlantic Orientation Chart, and RNPC in Canadian airspace, and guidance for operations in the West Atlantic (WAT), Gulf of Mexico (GOMEX), Carribean, Pacific, and NAT airspace areas.

Based on FAA and ICAO guidelines, our International Operations course offers valuable information on useful resources and communication and navigation tools for flights in remote airspaces. It prepares pilots to operate within international airspace safely and efficiently, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to handle various situations that may arise during international operations.
