Description

Our Performance-Based Communication and Surveillance (PBCS) course provides pilots with an overview of the communication and surveillance elements of air traffic management, ensuring an understanding of relevant data link communications system theories as they apply to operational use.
This course provides an overview of PBCS for both domestic and international operators. The curriculum explores the PBCS concept, Data Link Systems and Eligibility, and Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC). Additionally, it covers CPDLC Domestic, Oceanic, and Remote Operations, CPDLC AFN Logon, CPDLC Message Format and Responses, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS) – Contract.
Our PBCS course ensures Part 135, Part 125, and Part 91 pilots are well-equipped to handle both routine and complex communication and surveillance tasks in various operational environments.
