We are pleased to announce that we have released a new training subject: Minimum Equipment List (MEL).
Our MEL subject has been developed to satisfy training requirements listed in the 8900 and those recommended by IS-BAO and NBAA. The course covers the requirements of an MEL management program, contents of the MEL, the differences between a Master MEL and operator MEL, and their contents, repair categories, and general procedures for use. It also includes topical information on Nonessential Equipment and Furnishings (NEF) and Configuration Deviation Lists (CDI).
The Minimum Equipment List (MEL) subject includes an interactive tutorial with learning checkpoints, supplemental lessons, and an exam.
