Introducing Walking Working Surfaces

Walking-Working Surfaces

CTS is pleased to introduce our new Walking Working Surfaces subject. This new subject aligns our content with OSHA’s final rule updating the Walking Working Surfaces and Fall Protection standards and replaces our existing Maintenance Ladder Safety and Slips, Trips, and Falls training to provide one streamlined, comprehensive modular course. The subject satisfies the OSHA standards for Walking Working Surfaces and fulfils the training requirements in 29 CFR Part 1910.30.

CTS’s Walking Working Surfaces course provides employees with the information needed to prevent slips, trips, and falls while performing their work functions. It includes training on ladder safety, mobile ladder stands and platforms, and dockboards.

For Part 135, Part 125, and Part 91 maintenance personnel training, our Walking Working Surfaces course provides a foundation for learning about how to avoid occupational injury due to workplace hazards. It is intended to fulfill the OSHA training requirements on fall hazards.

Users already taking the Maintenance Ladder Safety and Slips, Trips, and Falls courses do not need to do anything to access the new course – you’ll see it in your menu.

For questions about this course and others, feel free to email us at train@ctsys.azurewebsites.net; we’d be happy to hear from you.
